On February 14th, Hailiang Allotop Tube (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. won the honor of customs AEO advanced certification enterprise.
Customs AEO certification, an international certification, whose full name is Authorized Economic Operator, is initiated by the World Customs Organization (WCO) to facilitate international import and export trade. Obtaining this certification is a sort of recognition and makes it more convenient for the enterprise to carry out customs clearance.
It is the continuous hard work of Hailiang staff that helps the enterprise to make such great achievements. From 2009 to 2023, Zhongshan Company has completed the continuous upgrading from Customs Double A Enterprise to AEO Certification Enterprise to AEO Advanced Certification Enterprise. The qualifications and honors have witnessed the high-quality development of Zhongshan company’s import and export business and various management work.
With the increasing complexity of foreign trade business and the diversification of products, the customs department has higher and higher requirements for enterprises to apply for certification. In 2021, Zhongshan Company faced great difficulties and challenges in applying for “advanced” certification review: first, the epidemic prevention and control work was still urgent, which affected the promotion of various work; second, understanding of the new standards of customs certification system needs to be deepened. During the critical period, general manager Lou Xianqi personally deployed, reasonably authorized, and made full use of all resources to create a team with strong will and excellent business ability represented by director Li Wanshou to fully promote the review and achieve complete success.
The company learned the AEO certification system standard, optimized various systems one by one, including internal control, financial status, compliance with regulations and trade security, improved various records and implemented the traceability of customs declaration information system, covering a wide range of areas and complex contents. More than 300 written materials were prepared and more than 100 on-site rectification measures were prepared. Finally, in July, after the most rigorous system review and on-site assessment by the customs, it successfully passed the review.
Temporary honor will last forever. Hailiang staff are supposed to have a learning mentality of returning to zero all the time, stay realistic and pragmatic, strictly implement the requirements of the system, and ensure the efficient operation of the company.
