On the morning of 2nd April, Jianrong Qian, deputy director of Standing Committee of Zhuji Municipal People's Congress (SCZJMPC), Hongwei Zhu, vice mayor of Zhuji City, Peiguang Wang, vice chairman of Zhuji Municipal People's Political Consultative Conference, together with their colleagues, visited Hailiang Stock’s Zhejiang base to provide guidance on the construction of its red copper pipe intelligent workshop project. Yali Feng, secretary of the Party Committee of Hailiang Group, Lirong Jiang, general manager of Hailiang Stock’s Copper Pipeline Division, accompanied them during the visit.
Officials from different government departments in Zhuji had a closer look in terms of the new equipment, new technologies and new processing of Hailiang Stock’s red copper pipe intelligent workshop, and expressed their affirmation on the workshop’s real-time monitoring system and the intelligent production line application. They believed that the construction of the workshop will play a positive role in driving relevant industries and promoting a sustainable, fast and sound development of the economy.
Hailiang Stock’s red copper pipe intelligent workshop, through improving the existing pipe production process and researching and developing equipment, will establish a digital production line for pipe fittings with independent intellectual property rights. The equipment slow in speed, low in efficiency, high in energy consumption and low in production rate will be knocked out, whereas automatic loading and unloading by robots, automatic cleaning, automatic packaging and non-contact automatic detection line will be realized. Meanwhile, intelligent software management systems such as manufacturing execution system (MES system, including data acquisition, simulation, etc.), factory command center system, data analysis system, and cloud computing system will be introduced. After the project is put into production, a daily production capacity of 350,000 copper pipe fittings is expected, and an annual production of 3,600 tons is estimated. Moreover, the workshop will enhance the production efficiency by 300%, save labor cost by 75%, reduce production cost by 40%, and save 8 million CNY per year.
